Tommy has 6 more than 3 times the amount of money in his bank account than Judy. Judy has $7500 more than a number in her accoun
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

Amount of money Judy has in her account is \$(7500+n).

Amount of money Tommy has in his account is  \$(22506+3n)

Step-by-step explanation:

To find : Amount of money in Judy account and amount of money in Tommy account:

Solution:

Given:

Judy has $7500 more than a number in her account.

Let the number be 'n'.

So we can say that;

Amount of money in Judy account is equal to 7500 plus number.

framing in equation form we get;

Amount of money in Judy account = \$(7500+n)

Hence Amount of money Judy has in her account is \$(7500+n).

Now Given:

Tommy has 6 more than 3 times the amount of money in his bank account than Judy.

So we can say that;

Amount of money in Tommy account is equal to 3 multiplied by Amount of money in Judy account plus 6.

framing in equation form we get;

Amount of money in Tommy account = 3(7500+n)+6 =22500+3n+6=\$(22506+3n)

Hence Amount of money Tommy has in his account is  \$(22506+3n).

A man is on a diet and goes into a shop to buy some turkey slices. He is given 3 slices which together weigh 1/3 of a pound, but
Ghella [55]
The three slices are each approximately 1/9 pound in weight, and, since 2/9 is less than 1/4, he can eat 2 whole slices and be okay. If he wants to eat partial slices, then he could eat 2 1/4 slices, as each slice weighs 4/36 pounds, so 2 slices would equal 8/36 pounds, leaving 1/36 pound left over in his diet, which is a quarter of the third slice.

What’s the best way to revise for maths? can never remember how to do anything.
Allisa [31]

Repetition is a guaranteed way to learn something. If it is a formula you need to learn, try doing flashcards and reading it over and over again until you can spell it without the flahcard. If it is something like factoring, just do a bunch of factoring problems until you get the feel of it.
