The flow of energy from the sun is as follows:

  • Sun energy ----> Producers (sea weeds) -----> small sea animals ---> small fish ----> Humpback whale.

<h3>How does the energy of the sun get to the humpback whale?</h3>

The sun is the main energy source for living organism.

The energy from the sun is used by producers such as plants to make food for themselves and for other living organisms.

Other living organisms that depend on the plants for food such as small see animals are eaten by smaller fishes.

The humpback whale eats these smaller fishes and thus derive their energy from the sun.

Therefore, the flow of energy from the sun is as follows:

Sun energy ----> Producers (sea weeds) -----> small sea animals ---> small fish ----> Humpback whale.
