Based on the areas of the pistons and the length to be lifted, you should push down piston 1 by 15 ft.

Area of piston 1 x Length to push piston 1 by = Area of piston 2 x Length to be lifted by

A1 x L1 = A2 x L2

L1 = A2 / A1 x L2
