(3.75, 5.5)

(Work is attached )
When using substitution , you substitute with a variable that is already by itself. In this case, the variable “y” is already by itself and equal to x+ 1.75 . you substitute that for the the y in the other equation and solve for the other variable which is “x”. After you solve for x , to find your y value, you have to substitute the x value in for either equation.

The heavy line means  the values on this part are in the solution set. . The open circle means that this value ( - 3) is NOT included in the solution set.

So the answer is  x > -3.

Solve (6-5x)/10-(2x+1)/5+x/3=2x/15
Ulleksa [173]
Multiply2 * x/15 to 2x/15

multiply both sides by 30 which is the LCM of 10, 5, 3, and 15

expand it

simplify 18 - 15x - 12x - 6 + 10x to 12 - 17x

add 17x to both sides

add 4x + 17x to = 21x

divide both sides by 21

simplify 12/21 to 4/7

now simplify

Answer: x = 4/7.

____ [38]

Answer:

Total member = a+b+c+d+e+f+g=5+4+2+0+5+0+4=20 member

Step-by-step explanation:

Let suppose the attached histogram

a) Total members whose weight 110 = 5

b) Total members whose weight 120 = 4

c) Total members whose weight 130 = 2

d) Total members whose weight 140 = 0

e) Total members whose weight 150 = 5

f) Total members whose weight 160 = 0

g) Total members whose weight 170 = 4

Total member = a+b+c+d+e+f+g=5+4+2+0+5+0+4=20 member

A histogram is a statistical graphical representation of data with the help of bars with different heights.

What k-1/3=5/6 equal ?
JulijaS [17]
The value of "K"

k -\frac{1}{3} = \frac{5}{6}

MMC (3,6)
3,6 | 3
1,2 | 2
1,1 |__ 3*2 = 6

Solving:
k -\frac{1}{3} = \frac{5}{6}
\frac{6k}{6} - \frac{2}{6} = \frac{5}{6}
cancel denominators (6)
6k - 2 = 5
6k = 5+2
6k = 7
\boxed{k =  \frac{7}{6} }

Drag an answer to each box to complete this paragraph proof.
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

By the triangle sum theorem, the sum of angles in a triangle is equal to 180°. Therefore, m∠A + m∠B + m∠C = 180°. Using the Substitution property

(6x)° + 90° + (x+6)° = 180°

To solve for x, first combine the terms to get (7x + 96) = 180°

Using the Subtraction property of equality,

7x = 84.

Then using the division property of equality x = 12.

To find the measure of angle A,

Use the subtraction property to get m∠A = 6(12)°.

Finally simplifying the expression gets m∠A = 72°.
