(3.75, 5.5)

(Work is attached )
When using substitution , you substitute with a variable that is already by itself. In this case, the variable “y” is already by itself and equal to x+ 1.75 . you substitute that for the the y in the other equation and solve for the other variable which is “x”. After you solve for x , to find your y value, you have to substitute the x value in for either equation.

3/4 divided by 2/3 using fractions
mr_godi [17]

To solve this divition we can write it like:

\frac{\frac{3}{4}}{\frac{2}{3}}

So now we can multiplicate the numerator of the first fraction with the denominatior of the second fraction, and put the resould in the numerator of the quationt, ans the same operation for the numeratior with the numerator of the secon fraction and the denominator of the first fraction so:

\frac{3\cdot3}{4\cdot2}=\frac{9}{8}

One morning, Muhammad's deli shop sells 15 sandwiches in 10 minutes. If the shop continues to sell sandwiches at the same rate,
antoniya [11.8K]

Answer:

68 sandwiches

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

A shop sells 15 sandwiches in 10 minutes.

10 minutes = (10/60) hour = (1/6) hour

In (1/6) hour shop sells 15 sandwiches

In 1 hour = 90 sandwiches

To find, no of sandwiches in 3/4 hours, multiply 3/4 by 90. So,

In 3/4 hour = 90\times \dfrac{3}{4}=67.5 sandwiches

or

≅ 68 sandwiches

So, 68 sandwiches can be made in 3/4 hour.
