In Mendel’s genetic experiments many characteristics of the plants were quantified, such as their height (tall or short), flower

position (axial or terminal), and seed color (colored or white). Suppose 100 plants are measured, and 35 are tall with axial flowers and colored seeds. Further, suppose a total of 25 plants have white seeds, 4 of them being short and 6 having terminal flowers. There are no short plants with terminal flowers, and the total number of short plants is 25. How many plants have terminal flowers are tall and have colored seeds?
I put 6 as the answer and it is incorrect. Please Help.

Answer:

1.3 Mr. Johnson’s daughter did not qualify to receive NSFA and approached the bank for a loan to

pay for her College fees for one year. She applied for a loan of R30 000.00 with the following

conditions:

 A once off initiation fee of R1207.50 ( Including 15 % VAT)

 A monthly service fee of R69.00

 An interest rate of 24.5 % compounded annually

1.3.1 Mr. Johnson’s daughter stated that the total loan value will be more than R20 000 more

than the original amount if she paid it at the end of the 24 month period. Verify, showing

all your calculations, if her statement is correct.

State the Lagrange Theorem, and find the order of all possible subgroups of a group of order 5. The same question of a group of
oksian1 [2.3K]

Answer:

  Lagrange Theorem

Step-by-step explanation:

The Lagrange Theorem:

Let G be a finite group and T be a subgroup of G. Then the order of T divides the Order of group G.

This can be written as:

If T \subset G, then, o(T)|o(G).

Possible Subgroups

Now, we are given a group with order 5. We have to find all possible subgroups.

So, the possible subgroup are: groups with order 1, group with order 5

We are given a group with order 6.

Possible subgroups are: group of order 1, group of order 2, group of order 3 and group of order 4.

In △ E F G , △EFG, G E ‾ ≅ F G ‾ GE ≅ FG and m ∠ F = 5 5 ∘ . m∠F=55 ∘ . Find m ∠ E . m∠E.
Bingel [31]

Answer: m∠E = 55°

Step-by-step explanation: If a triangle has two equal sides, it is called Isosceles. Another characteristics of this type of triangle is that the angles opposite the equal sides are also congruent.

Triangle ΔEFG has two sides with approximately the same length:

\overline{GE} ≈ \overline{FG}

So, it is an isosceles.

Therefore the opposite angles are m∠E and m∠F.

m∠E = m∠F

m∠E = 55°

Angle at vertex E is 55°.
