Answer:

4( p - 7)=44

Divide both sides by 4:

\implies \dfrac{4(p - 7)}{4}=\dfrac{44}{4}

Simplify:

\implies p - 7=11

Add 7 to both sides:

\implies p - 7+7=11+7

Simplify:

\implies p=18

Answer:

p = 18

Explanation:

\hookrightarrow \sf 4(p - 7) = 44

\sf change \ sides

\hookrightarrow \sf p-7\right}=\frac{44}{4}

\sf  simplify

\hookrightarrow \sf p-7\right}= 11

\sf change \ sides

\hookrightarrow \sf p\right}= 11+7

\sf final \ answer

\hookrightarrow \sf p\right}= 18

Hi I’m new can someone help me on this (PLZ NO LINKS)
Ymorist [56]
Complementary angles add up to 90 degrees.
So to find A you would need to add A and B together and equal it to 90 (3x+25+5x-7=90)
Combine like terms together (8x+18=90)
Subtract 18 from night sides (8x=72)
Divide by 8 on both sides (x=9)
Then to find A substitute x into its equation (3(9)+25)=(27+25)=52

A=52 I think

the width of a rectangle is 15 units less than the length. if the area is 76 square units, then find the dimensions of the recta
Lelu [443]
W = L - 15
WL = 76

(L-15)L = 76

L^2 - 15L - 76 = 0
(L-19)(L+4) = 0

L = 19 or -4
Since a length cannot be negative, the length must be 19 units.
The width is 19-15=4 units.

The graph below shows the number of paintballs a machine launches, y, in x seconds:
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

The expression that can be used to calculate the rate per second at which the machine launches the balls is fraction 20 over 4.

Step-by-step explanation:

The x-axis label is Time in seconds, and the x-axis values are from 0 to 20 in increments of 4 for each grid line.

And the y-axis label is Number of Balls and the y-axis values from 0 to 100 in increments of 20 for each grid line.

If the ordered pairs (4,20) and (8,40) are on the graph, then the slope of the line will be represented by

M = \frac{40 - 20}{8 - 4} = \frac{20}{4}

Therefore, the expression that can be used to calculate the rate per second at which the machine launches the balls is fraction 20 over 4. (Answer)
