Esperanza's life changed completely the moment she moved to California. She hoped to live in a beautiful house, in a city where she could have a satisfying job and a comfortable life. However, when she arrives in California she is frustrated when she has to live in a very small house, in a neighborhood with very little structure and having to do domestic services and take care of children. Although Esperanza's situation is not good, she must have patience and perseverance, looking for opportunities to change her life, in the meantime, she must plan and be resilient.
