Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a, b and d all represent the combined area of the gardens

(6*7) + (6*x) is equivalent to 6(7+x) and 42 + 6x

Check:

(6*7) + (6*x)

42 + 6x

6(7+x)

42 + 6x

42 + 6x

William chose C because he added the length and width of the vegetable garden (7 + 6 = 13), and then added the length and width of the flower garden (6 + x = 6 + x).

Hope this helps!

B

To find the area you multiply width times height, here for the bigger rectangle, to find the area you multiply 7*6 and then add that with 6 * x because those are the width and height of the smaller rectangle.

Second part

I believe that Wiliam chose C because he accidentally thought that adding everything was correct. He added 7+6 to get 13 for the bigger rectangle and then for the smaller rectangle decided that to find the area you would add 6 and x.

Find cos B, sinB,tanb
emmasim [6.3K]

Using right triangle relations, we will get:

 • tan(B) = 1.05
 • sin(B) = 0.735
 • cos(B) = 0.7

How to find the value of the trigonometric equations?

We assume that bot triangles are equivalent, then the angle B will be the same as the angle Z.

Now remember the relations:

 • tan(θ) = (opposite cathetus)/(adjacent cathetus).
 • sin(θ) = (opposite cathetus)/(hypotenuse)
 • cos(θ) = (adjacent cathetus)/(hypotenuse).

If we step on angle B, we have:

 • opposite cathetus = 29.4
 • adjacent cathetus = 28
 • hypotenuse = 40.6

Replacing that, we get:

 • tan(B) = 29.4/28 = 1.05
 • sin(B) = 29.4/40.6 = 0.735
 • cos(B) = 28/40.6 = 0.7

"Which of the following are remote interior angles of 5? Check all that apply.
svetoff [14.1K]
The remote angles of the figure shown above of angle 5 are angle 3, angle 2, and angle 1. Remote angles are just angles inside the triangle. In this case, The angles that are inside the triangle are 3, 2 and 1.

The diameter of circle P has endpoints A(-1, 5) and B(4, -3). Use the midpoint formula to find the coordinates of the center of
ICE Princess25 [194]

Answer: P ( 3/2, - 1 )

Step-by-step explanation: the formulae that defines the midpoint of a line is given below as

x = (x2 + x1)/2 and y = (y2 + y1)/2

Where x and y are the coordinates of the mid point.

Point A is (-1, 5) hence x1 = - 1 and y1 = 5

Point B is (4, -3) hence x2= 4 and y2 = - 3

For x coordinate, we have that 4 + (-1)/2 = 4 - 1/ 2 = 3/2

For y coordinate, we have that - 3 + 5 / 2 = - 2/2 = - 1

Hence, coordinate of midpoint is P ( 3/2, - 1 )
