Lying, breaking guarantees, cheating, and stealing are thought to be immoral activities. These three are so critical to morals is on account of this constitute the types of immorality that we most much of the time experience in our ordinary live thus they hit 'close to home'.
I believe the answer is: Normative social influence.
Normative social influence refers to the process of agreeing/conforming the the view held by majority of group members in order to be a part of the group. This occurrence could affect different aspect of our life. For example, we can see that many people choose to adopt all belief from one political party without wanting to listen to the views of opposition party.
