2㏒x-㏒[x-2]=2㏒3: solve the equation

Mathematics
1 answer:
castortr0y [4]2 years ago
5 0

Step-by-step explanation:

2 log(x)  -  log(x - 2)  = 2 log(3)

log(x {}^{2} )  -  log(x - 2)  =  log(9)

log( \frac{ {x}^{2} }{x - 2} )  =  log(9)

\frac{ {x}^{2} }{x - 2}  = 9

{x}^{2}  = 9x - 18

{x}^{2}  - 9x + 18 = 0

(x - 3)(x - 6) = 0

x = 3

and

x = 6

If sin A = 8/17 and tan B = 40/9 and angles A and B are in Quadrant I, find the value of * tan(A + B) .
nirvana33 [79]

Step-by-step explanation:

tanA=8/15 and tan B=40/9

tan(A+B)=(tanA+tanB)/1-tanAtanB

(8/15+40/9)/1-(8/15×40/9)

=-672/185

Why can't a triangle have more than one obtuse angle
vlada-n [284]
An "obtuse" angle is an angle that's bigger than 90 degrees.
So two obtuse angles would add up to more than 180 degrees.

But the three angles inside a triangle always add up to exactly 180 degrees.
So two of them can't be obtuse.

Please help do EXTREMELY soon
Sphinxa [80]
The answer is B) 4
the two angles adjacent to the exterior angle equal each other so the equation would be 14x+58=27x+6 subtract the 14x from the 27x
58=13x+6 subtract the 6 from 58
52=13x divide 52/13 leaving you with x=4
