Andreyy89

Learning theories explain how information is received, processed, and retained by students while they are learning.

Russian physiologist Pavlov first identified classical conditioning, which involves learning through association. Simply said, two stimuli are combined to cause a person or animal to learn a new learned response.

Operant conditioning is a form of associative learning in which the strength of a behavior is altered by reward or punishment.

Albert Bandura's social learning theory places a strong emphasis on the value of seeing, modeling, and copying other people's behaviors, attitudes, and emotional responses.

Heat up the stove, let it cool to a point where it would still sting a child's tender fingertips but not burn them, and then allow the child to touch it to teach them to avoid touching hot surfaces.

Place the youngster on the toilet and reward them if they excrete.

Encourage the kid to pay attention to how you behave at the table. Make them aware of your good manners, and they'll start to imitate you.

how does mill go about establishing that that the theory of utilitarianism is compatible with justice?
stira [4]

According to Mill, the main criticism of utilitarianism is that it is incompatible with justice.

As per Mill, utilitarianism is consistent with the key tenets of how we typically conceive about justice.

The common understanding of justice is that certain interests should be given priority; we refer to them as being safeguarded by rights.

An ethical theory known as utilitarianism establishes right from wrong by emphasizing results. It embodies consequentialism in some way.

According to utilitarianism, the decision that will result in the greatest good for the largest number of people is the most morally right one.

Mill backs up this assertion by demonstrating how all other things that people desire are either ways to achieve happiness or are part of the concept of happiness.

The sense of justice is essentially founded on utility, and rights only exist because they are required for human enjoyment, according to Mill, who goes into great detail about this.

How do differing political views lead to greater political participation?
serious [3.7K]

Personally, I believe that differing political views result in greater political participation because of a persons need to help the side they support win. Take this for example: Republican and democratic parties have come to an issue where they see two completely different solutions. The republicans are scared that if they don't have great amounts of participation, the democrats will win and the democrats are scared of they don't have great amounts of participation, the republicans will win. This need to help the idea they support win drives a greater amount of political participation form both sides and is applicable to any differing political views. Hope this helps! :)
