Answer:

386.75 grams

Explanation:

You can use dimensional analysis to help you solve for this question

1. set up a proportion

                         <u> x grams</u>

4.25 mol x        x mole

2. to find the amount of grams/mol that are in NiS we find the gram formula mass (mass of all the atomic masses of each element)

Ni- 59 grams

S- 32 grams

add these together and you get 91 g/mol

3. now plug in the values and multiply across

                   <u> 91 grams </u>

4.25 mol x     1 mole

when you multiply across this is equal to 386.75 grams

How does a scientist answer a scientific question? A. By observing and measuring B. By asking others for their opinions C. By fi
marin [14]

Answer:

The answer is A

Explanation:

Because . . .

- A is correct because scientist make their statements by using their observations and tools to measure.

- B is incorrect people's opinions are not facts! Plus, opinions can be wrong.

- C is incorrect because that book can be outdated and not every answer is in a book.

- D is absolutely incorrect because guessing a "right" answer can be wrong. For example, if you were a scientist and you guessed a treatment for coronavirus, you will defiantly get fired because you don't have evidence or logic to back up your answer. In addition, if people used ur "treatment" the one you have guessed as the "right" answer, you can put people's lives in danger and they can possibly die. You will defiantly be responsible for it and be put into jail.

What is the ionic equation of Aqueous calcium bromide was mixed with aqueous gold(I) perchlorate, and a crystallized gold(I) bro
Bumek [7]

Answer:- 2AuClO_4(aq) + CaBr_2(aq)\rightarrow 2AuBr(s)+ Ca(ClO_4)_2(aq)

Explanations:- It's a double replacement reaction where a precipitate of silver(I)bromide is formed. A dpuble replacement reaction in general looks as AB + CD \rightarrow AD + CB

To balance the equation we need to multiply gold compounds on both sides by 2 and the balanced equation is..

2AuClO_4(aq) + CaBr_2(aq)\rightarrow 2AuBr(s)+ Ca(ClO_4)_2(aq)

Gold forms a substitutional solid solution with silver. Compute the number of gold atoms per cubic centimeter for a silver-gold
Sonja [21]

Answer:

The Number of gold atoms are =N_{Au}=1.81718*10^{22}\ atoms/cm^3

Explanation:

The formula we are going to use is:

N_{Au}=\frac{N_A*C_{Au}}{{\frac{C_{Au}A_{Au} }{\rho_{Au}}}+\frac{A_{Au}}{\rho_{Ag}}(100-C_{Au})}

Where:

N_{Au} are number of gold atoms.

N_A is Avogadro Number.

C_{Au} is the amount of gold.

A_{Au} is the atomic weight of gold.

\rho_{Au} is the density of gold.

\rho_{Ag} is the density of silver.

C_{Ag} is the amount of silver.

N_{Au}=\frac{6.023*10^{23}*45\%wt}{\frac{45\%wt*196.97}{19.32}+\frac{196.97}{10.49}(100-45\%wt)}\\ N_{Au}=1.81718*10^{22}\ atoms/cm^3

The Number of gold atoms are =N_{Au}=1.81718*10^{22}\ atoms/cm^3
