<h3>Answers: </h3>

➝ Hypotenuse of triangle ( a ) = 21.63 mm

➝ Hypotenuse of triangle ( b ) = 150 mm

➝ Hypotenuse of triangle ( c ) = 111.80 mm

\quad\rule{300pt}{1.5pt}\quad

<h3>Solution:</h3>

We have to find the length of hypotenuse in the given 3 triangles, which can be done by using Pythagoras theorem.

  • Pythagoras theorem states that :

" In a right angled triangle, the square of hypotenuse side is equal to the sum of square of other two sides "

\qquad \bull \:{\pmb{\mathfrak{ h^2 = b^2 + p^2}}}

And we have to convert the answer to the units indicated in red i.e, in mm.

Since 1cm = 10 mm, we will convert the given values of length of side in mm before putting the values in the formula

  • <u>For triangle ( a )</u>

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h^2 = b^2 + p^2}

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h =\sqrt{b^2 + p^2}}

:\implies\qquad \sf{h=\sqrt{ (12)^2 + (18)^2 }}

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h= \sqrt{144 +  324}}

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h = \sqrt{468}}

:\implies\qquad\underline{\underline{\pmb{ \sf{ h = 21.63 mm}}}}

  • <u>For </u><u>triangle</u><u> </u><u>(</u><u> </u><u>b </u><u>)</u>

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h^2 = b^2 + p^2}

:\implies\qquad \sf{h =\sqrt{b^2 + p^2} }

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h = \sqrt{(90)^2+(120)^2}}

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h=\sqrt{8100+14400}}

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h =\sqrt{22500}}

:\implies\qquad\underline{\underline{\pmb{ \sf{h = 150mm}}} }

  • <u>For </u><u>triangle</u><u> </u><u>(</u><u> </u><u>c </u><u>)</u>

:\implies\qquad \sf{h^2 = b^2 + p^2 }

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h=\sqrt{b^2 + p^2}}

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h =\sqrt{(100)^2)+(50)^2}}

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h=\sqrt{10000+2500}}

:\implies\qquad \sf{ h =\sqrt{12500}}

:\implies\qquad \underline{\underline{\pmb{\sf{h = 111.80mm}}} }

Answer:

D is the right one

Step-by-step explanation:

π radian = 180 degree

-> 135 degree = \frac{135}{180} π radian

-> 135 degree = 0.75 * π  radians = 3π/4 radian

PLEASE PLEASE HELP PLEASE
Maru [420]

Answer:

-2 and -7

Step-by-step explanation:

This problem is about using the Factoring X.

Two numbers will multiply to the number placed at the top. These same two numbers will add to the value placed on the bottom.

Let's look at the factors of 14.

1 • 14 = 14

2 • 7 = 14

Now let's look at their sums.

1 + 14 = 15

2 + 7 = 9

We can see that 2 and 7 multiply to 14 and add to 9.

However, we need them to add to -9.

Note that two negative numbers multiplied will become positive.

-2 • - 7 = 14

Now let's look at their sum.

-2 + (-7)

Simplify the negative.

-2 - 7 = -9

We can see that -2 and -7 multiply to 14 and add to -9.

Hope this helps!

Given f(x) = log2x, which of the functions below represents g(x) resulting from reflecting the graph of f(x) in the x-axis and s
enot [183]

Answer:

g(x) = log(2x+2)

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>The question has missing options ; However, the question is still solvable</em>

Given

f(x) = log2x

Direction = 2 units left

Required

Shift the function by 2 units in the x axis

The general format of shifting a function along the x axis (by the left) is as follows

g(x) = log(ax+c)

Where c represents the direction;

c = 2

Since f(x) = log2x, then

g(x) = log(2x+2)
