Taxonomy is the study of the classification of organisms. Taxonomists study the characteristics of organisms in order to classify them into the appropriate taxonomic groups, such as kingdom, phylum, class, etc.
Binomial nomenclature is a system of naming a species using two names, the genus and the species (and sometimes subspecies), which make up the scientific name of a species. Examples include Panthera tigris for the tiger, and Canis lupus for the gray wolf.
Phylogeny, or phylogenetics, is the study of the evolutionary development of organisms and relationships between them. Phylogeny is a useful tool for taxonomists.

Plating is a producing procedure wherein a skinny layer of steel coats a substrate. this may be achieved via electroplating, which calls for an electric current, or via electroless plating, which is in the autocatalytic chemical method.

The two techniques have different effects. Coating involves the usage of paint, like a powder-lined end. The process of plating, mainly “electroplating,” includes passing cutting-edge through an electrolyte. It splits and deposits atoms on metallic objects, making them electroplated.

Like plating, the coating is applied to metallic surfaces for protective functions. however, unlike electroplated surfaces, powder-lined surfaces are basically blanketed in paint – not steel.

The plating procedure is a submit-manufacturing system. It involves the coating or overlaying of the surface of a workpiece with a skinny layer of metallic. The simple know-how of Plating to have a thin layer of one steel coating a substrate. therefore, the aim is to enhance the general quality of the product.

cell organelles In this lab, you will try to view as many cell organelles as you can at different magnification levels. Write an
CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

What is the effect of power/magnification on the frequency and size of organelles under a microscope?

Explanation:

Organelles within the cell are responsible for carrying out various functions. Some cells are more specialized than others, and may have particular organelles at a higher frequency, or showing a variation in size; sub-cellular structures become more visible at higher magnifications under the microscope.

Hypotheses:

 • organelle A's frequency decreases while B's frequency increases at higher magnifications
 • organelle A's size increases while B's size decreases at higher magnifications

Dependent variables: size and frequency cell organelles

Independent variable: power/magnification at low (x4), medium(x10) and high (x40)

Controlled variables: Type of organelles, microscope used, cell examined,

Method:

1. Examine the organelles A and B in a cell mounted on a slide; use the fine adjustment to focus on the cell.

 • Frequency: What is the average number of organelle A versus B, seen at low (x4), medium (x10) and high (x40) magnifications?
 • Size: Measure the average diameter of organelle A versus B using an ocular micrometer at low, medium and high magnification.

2. Record and tabulate observations.

What types of cells carry out photosynthesis?
Sedaia [141]

On the cellular level, the reactions for photosynthesis occur in organelles called chloroplasts (in eukaryotic cells). Blue-green algae (which are prokaryotic) carry-out the photosythesis reactions in the cytoplasm.

So all of the above
