Given that:

To Find:

• Measure of another side(leg).

Solution:-

$\rightarrow$ As we know that,

$\sf{A^2 +B^2 \:=\: C^2}$(Pythagoras Theorem)

So, using this formula we can find measure of another side(leg).

$\rightarrow$$\sf{A^2 +B^2 \:=\: C^2}$(putting the value of both given side of triangle)

• Here I am putting the value of hypotenuse in C because it is the longest side of triangle.

$\rightarrow$ $\sf{9^2 +B^2 \:=\: 16^2}$

$\rightarrow$ $\sf{81 +B^2 \:=\: 256}$

$\rightarrow$ $\sf{B^2 \:=\: 256-81}$

$\rightarrow$ $\sf{B^2 \:=\: 175}$

$\rightarrow$ $\sf{B \:=\: \sqrt{175}}$

$\rightarrow$ $\sf{B\:=\: 13.22(approx)}$

Therefore, measure of another side (leg) of the triangle = $\sf\purple{ 13.22(approx).}$
