This was an interesting request, I hope I understood you right but here:

Don't lifegaurds today save millions of lives? Don't they help with keeping an eye on everyone making sure they don't get hurt? Lifegaurds have always been like a wall flower to us, so do we really need them? Yes. Do we have a lack of appreciation for them? Yes. When have you seen a lifeguard intentionally let someone drown? Never. How are we as normal chaotic families with little children keep everyone safe? Lifeguards.
