Empathy is a set of behaviors that have an impact on other people. Empathy is the habit of understanding and responding with sensitivity and care to the experiences of another. The ability to put yourself into their shoes. I believe showing empathy can be extremely effective in the care of a patient. Sometimes all someone needs is someone to listen
They could try feeding Nathan or changing his diaper. They should also check his temperature to see if he has a fever or something to that affect.
