The answer would be A) Photovoltaic cell.

Reason:
B) turbine, would convert either air or water into electricity through mechanical energy.

C) battery, would just store chemical energy that later is released in whatever you put it in.

D)Copper Tubing, does not make sense. It channels energy but doesn't generate or store it in any way.

***Photovoltaic comes from the Greek word <em>photo-</em> meaning light. This alone should be a good hint.

If you were trying to build a soundproof room, which of the following materials would you choose in order to absorb the most sou
leonid [27]

Explanation :

Absorption coefficient of a material determines how much sound is absorbed by the material.

To build a soundproof room, Heavy curtains and carpet can be used. They reduce reverberation.

Reverberation means an echoing sound which persists for some time. For example, when we bang on a huge piece of metal, we hear the reverberation even after we stop banging.

Hence, option (A) and (D) are correct.

On level ground a shell is fired with an initial velocity of 49.0 m/s at 70.0 โ above the horizontal and feels no appreciable ai
xenn [34]

Answer:

Horizontal component = 16.8 m/s

Vertical component = 46.0 m/s

Explanation:

If we denote the initial velocity by <em>v</em> and the angle above the horizontal by <em>θ</em>,

the horizontal component of this initial velocity is given by

v_x = v\cos \theta

v_x = (49.0\text{ m/s})\cos\,(70.0^\circ) = 16.8\text{ m/s}

The vertical component is given by

v_y = v\sin\theta

v_x = (49.0\text{ m/s})\sin\,(70.0^\circ) = 46.0\text{ m/s}
