The vertical distance covered by a body falling freely under gravity is directly proportional to the square of the time for whic

h it falls. If a body covers 300m in the first 10 seconds of its free fall, find the distance covered by the body in the next 10 seconds.

Answer:

S = 1/2 a t^2       distance covered by falling body from speed = 0

300 = 1/2 a 10^2

a = 600 m / 100 s^2 = 6 m/s^2

v = a t = 6 m/s^2 s * 10 s = 60 m/s     speed after 10 sec

S2 = v t + 1/2 a t^2

S2 = 60 m/s * 10 sec + 3 m/s^2 * 100 s^2

S2 = 600  m + 300 m = 900 m

I am Lyosha [343]
Well 1 minute in it would taste like normal bread but 2-3 would the bread will break down and then get really soggy and 4-6 it would be into really tiny peices or almost gone and really wet from your saliva

A 6.7 kg block is released from rest on a frictionless inclined plane making an angle of 25.7° with the horizontal. Calculate th
yulyashka [42]

Answer:

So time taken by block to travel 0.5 m from rest will be 0.4853 sec

Explanation:

We have given mass of the block m = 6.7 kg

angle of inclination \Theta =25.7^{\circ}

Distance traveled s = 0.5 m

Initial velocity u = 0 m/sec

Acceleration of the block a=gsin\Theta =9.8\times sin25.7^{\circ}=4.243m/sec^2

From second equation of motion we know that S=ut+\frac{1}{2}at^2

So 0.5=0\times t+\frac{1}{2}\times 4.243\times t^2

t^2=0.2356

t = 0.4853 sec

So time taken by block to travel 0.5 m from rest will be 0.4853 sec
