A single monkey is not an ecosystem

As ecosystem comprises of all the living and non living parts a community under study.

So if have define an ecosystem of which monkey is a part then we have to include the living organism like tress and monkey and the non living parts like rock and wind which affects the living organism.

The coinage metals (Group 1B) copper, silver, and gold have specific heats of 0.385, 0.233, and 0.129 J/g-K, respectively. Among
gladu [14]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

The specific heat capacity is the heat required to raise the temperature of 1kg of a substance by 1oC. Molar heat capacity of a substance is the heat requiredto raise the temperature of 1mole of a substance by 1oC. Molar heat capacity and specific heat capacity both decreases with increase in atomic weight. Increase in atomic weight also means increase in density of the substance.

What is the cell potential of an electrochemical cell that has the half -reactions shown below? Ni^ 2+ +2e Ni A| A|^ 3+ +3e^ -
Nadya [2.5K]

Answer:

A. 1.4 V

Explanation:

We are given the half reactions;

Ni²⁺(aq) + 2e → Ni(s)

Al(s) → Al³⁺(aq) + 3e

We are required to determine the cell potential of an electrochemical cell with the above half-reactions.

E°cell = E(red) - E(ox)

From the above reaction;

Ni²⁺ underwent reduction(gain of electrons) to form Ni

Al on the other hand underwent oxidation (loss of electrons) to form Al³⁺

The E.m.f of Ni/Ni²⁺ is -0.25 V and that of Al/Al³⁺ is -1.66 V

Therefore;

E°cell = -0.25 V - (-1.66 V)

         = -0.250V + 1.66 V

         = + 1.41 V

         = + 1.4 V

Therefore, the cell potential will be +1.4 V

Bradley was working in the lab. He accidentally poured a container of concentrated hydrochloric acid into his container of disti
nexus9112 [7]

Answer is: The solution has now become a good conductor of electricity.

Hydrochloric acid (HCl) dissociate on positive ions or cations of hydogen (H⁺) and negative ions or anions of chlorine (Cl⁻) accordinf to balanced chemical reaction:

HCl(aq) → H⁺(aq) + Cl⁻(aq).

When there are free cations and ions, water solution can conduct electricity.
