DNA replication results to the formation of 2 daughter DNA molecules and this replication is called Semi conservative replication of DNA
the 2 strands of a parent cell uncoil and each one synthesizes a new strand of DNA and then the daughter DNA separate from the parent and thus forming 2 DNA molecules
hope this helps

Which factor causes the shapes of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids to differ?
lidiya [134]

The answer is option C. Number of double covalent bonds between carbon atoms is responsible for causing different shapes of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. The double covalent bond causes kink in the unsaturated fatty acids because of which their stacking is disrupted and they become loosely packed. The problem with double covalent bond is that unlike single covalent bond it can't rotate and has almost cis-configuration. This is also the reason behind their liquidity at room temperature.

Assuming a cell has just completed DNA synthesis, place these stages/steps in the cell cycle in the correct order of occurance b
shusha [124]

Answer:

The division of eukaryotic cell is done through various phase known as cell cycle.

Explanation:

The two basic phases of cell cycle is Interphase and Mitosis, that can be further divided into:

1) G2 Phase; G2 checkpoint ( Interphase stage)

2) Prometaphase (Mitotic Phase)

3) Anaphase  (Mitotic Phase)

4) Telophase  (Mitotic Phase)

5) cytokinesis (Mitotic Phase)

6) G1 Phase; G1 checkpoint ( Interphase stage)

After G1 phase there would be again S phase in which DNA replication occur.
