Answer:

I dont mind :D These were my favorite! They are actually really simple. Dont overthink it. It even gave you a hint!

It says a^2 + b^2 = c^2

We can substitute what we do have which is a = 10 and c = 15

10^2 + b^2 = 15^2

Now we square it

100 + b^2 = 225

Next, all we have to do is subtract the 100 from our answer so 225-100 which is 125, so b has to be 125!!! Because 125 + 100 is 225 :D

<h3>Given:</h3>
  • Hypotenuse ( c )= 15
  • Side 1 ( a )= 10
<h3>To find:</h3>

The length of "b" using Pythagoras Theorem.

<h3>Solution:</h3>

{a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {c}^{2}

{10}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {15}^{2}

b =  {15}^{2}  -  {10}^{2}

{b}^{2}  = 125

b =  \sqrt{125}

b = 11.18033989

b = 11.2 \: (nearest \: tenth)

<u>Therefore</u><u>,</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>length</u><u> </u><u>of</u><u> </u><u>"</u><u>b"</u><u> </u><u>is</u><u> </u><u>11.2</u>

What is the z-score that corresponds to a cumulative area of 0.0122?
LUCKY_DIMON [66]
The z-score corresponding to a cumulative area of 1 - 0.0122 = 0.9878 is 2.25.
Therefore the z-score corresponding to a cumulative area of 0.0122 is the negative of 2.25 = -2.25.

Please answer asap it's summer homework <br><br> Find the surface area of the prism.
Basile [38]
1. Area of triangle
1/2(10)(12)=60
There are two triangles, so multiply by 2
=120

2. Find area of the rectangles
This is an isosceles triangle, so the two rectangles are congruent
(2)(13)(3)=78

3. Find area of bottom rectangle
10(3)= 30

4. Add everything up
120+ 78 + 30= 228

Therefore the surface area of this prism is 228

I hope i helped :)
