Explanation:

From the equation  each mole calcium bromide makes 2 moles sodium bromide

1) 5 x 2 = 10 moles  sodium bromide

2) 2 moles of calcium bromide will make 2 moles of calcium sulfate ( from the equation)

       mole weight of calcium sulfate =

              Ca = 40  S = 32  O4 = 64    total mole weight = 136 gm

                   two moles would weigh  272 gms

3)   845 gm of calcium sulfate is  845 gm / 136 gm/mole = 6.21 moles

      6.21 moles of  Ca Br2   will be needed

             6 .21 ( 40 + 2 *79.9) = 1240.76 gm

How does mixture relate to life
masya89 [10]

Answer:

For example, when we bake a cake, it's a result of a mixture of eggs, flour, sugar, and other ingredients.  Any time two or more items are combined, a mixture is formed. Sometimes, the different parts of a mixture can be separated into individual entities. Other times, they're married for as long as they exist.

Which represents the balanced equation for the beta minus emission of phosphorus-32?
Agata [3.3K]

Answer: The correct option is C.

Explanation: Beta minus ( \beta ^- ) decay is the decay in which a neutron is converted into proton and releases beta particle or generally known as electron.

There is an increase in the Atomic number because one protons is being formed.

In the case of beta-minus decay of phosphorous, the P-nucleus gets changed to Sulfur nucleus. The balanced Chemical equation for this process is:

^{32}_{15}\textrm{P}\rightarrow ^{32}_{16}\textrm{S}+^0_{-1}\beta

Hence, the correct option is C.

If a temperature increase from 12.0 ∘c to 22.0 ∘c doubles the rate constant for a reaction, what is the value of the activation
Alex73 [517]

Answer: 48,501 J/mol

Explanation:

1) Action barrier = activation energy = Ea

2) Data:

i) T₁ = 12°C = 12 + 273.15 K = 285.15K

ii) T₂ = 22°C = 22 + 273.15 K = 295.15 K

iii) rate constant = k: k₂ / k₁ = 2

iv) Ea = ?

3) Formula:

Arrhenius' law gives the relationship between the constant of reaction and the temperature:

k=Ae^{-\frac{Ea}{RT}}

4) Solution

By arranging the formula, you get:

㏑[k₂/k₁] =Ea/R [1/T₁ - 1/T₂]

Replace k₂ = 2k₁; T₁ = 285.15; and T₂ = 295.15

ln[2] = Ea/8.314 J/K mol × [1/285.15 - 1/295.15]K

Ea = ln [2] × 8.314 J/K mol / [1.18818×10⁻⁴K] = 48,501 J/mol

Katie designed an experiment using a paint roller pan, sand, and water. The steps of the experiment are listed below.
SVETLANKA909090 [29]
She has the sea (water), the sand could be viewed as the geosphere and clearly the biosphere. I think for the environment to apply here I would hope to see something about it in the analysis.
Truly, I could go whichever way on this one.
