First, you multiply 600 and .20 to find 20% of 600 rupees, which is 120 rupees. Second, you subtract the 20%, (120 rupees) from 600 rupees, which is 480 rupees. After that, you have the original selling price of 480 rupees that the man purchased the article for, but the question is stating that he gained 15% of the original sales price. So, you multiply 480 and .15 to find 15% of 480 rupees, which is 72. However, he GAINED more money than what he payed for the article so you add 72 rupees to 480 rupees to get 552 rupees. In conclusion, the man sells the article for 552 rupees.

PLEASE NO LINKS I LOST SO MANY POINTS

Answer:

We will split the trapezoid into right angle triangle and rectangle

Traingle with base 3cm and height 10 - 6 = 4cm

Area of traingle

       = \frac{1}{2}*base *height = \frac{1}{2} * 3 * 4 = 6cm^{2}

Area of rectangle with sides 6cm and 3cm

       =6 * 3 = 18cm^{2}

Therefore, area of the trapezoid

       = 6+18 = 24cm^{2}

Area of the semi circle with radius 3/2 = 1.5cm

        = \frac{1}{2}\pi r^{2}  = \frac{1*\pi *1.5*1.5}{2} = 1.125\pi cm^{2}

Total area = 24 + 1.125\pi =27.53cm^{2}

D is the wrong answer please help :(
Stella [2.4K]

This can be solved by Newton's binomial formula

Tk+1 = (n k) a∧(n-k) b∧k  k+1=7 => k=6, n=11 , a=-3x and b=-2y

T7= (11 6) (-3x)∧(11-6) (-2y)∧6 = (11*10*9*8*7)/(1*2*3*4*5) (-3x)∧5 (-2y)∧6

T7= 462 (-3x)∧5 (-2y)∧6

The correct answer is A.

Good luck!!!

Solve the system of equations by elimination <br> 3x+4y=31<br> 2x-4y=-6
ANEK [815]
3x + 4y = 31
2x - 4y = -6

*The +4 and -4 in the center of the equation cancel out because 4-4 = 0*

3x = 31
2x = -6
------------

*add like terms*

3x + 2x = 5x

31 - 6 = 25

So now you should have this written on your paper ... > 5x = 25

*Divide by 5 on each side*

5x = 25
