Answer:

2.174 gm

Explanation:

PV = nRT       n = number of moles

                       R = gas constant = .082057 L-atm/(K-mol)

T must be in units of K

.870 (3.95) = n (.082057)(35+273.15)

   solve for n = .1359 moles

Methane mole weight (CH4) = 16 gm / mole

.1359 moles  *  16 gm/mole = 2.174 gm

Solid lithium metal and diatomic nitrogen gas react spontaneously to form a solid product. Give the balanced chemical equation (
skad [1K]

Answer:

6 Li(s) + N₂(g) → 2 Li₃N(s)

Explanation:

Solid lithium metal and diatomic nitrogen gas react spontaneously to form a solid product (lithium nitride). The chemical equation is:

Li(s) + N₂(g) → Li₃N(s)

Since the atomicities in the product are odd, the easiest way to balance the equation is by first multiplying it by 2.

Li(s) + N₂(g) → 2 Li₃N(s)

The final (balanced) equation is:

6 Li(s) + N₂(g) → 2 Li₃N(s)

an atom has an atomic number of 9 a mass number of 19 and an electron configuration of 2-6-1 explain why the number of electrons
sukhopar [10]
You can tell that the atom is in the excited state because:

- Electron configuration should follow the 2-8-8-2 rule, meaning that the inner shell should be filled before the next shell can start holding electrons.

- Instead of the atom's electron configuration being in the ground state at 2-8-8-1, electrons from the second shell have jumped to the third.
