Answer: Hello!

I think that 1.1 x 103 is maybe bad written, and you wanted to write 1.1x10^3, i will solve this for this last one.

We are looking for a number that his four thousand times larger than 1.1x10^3, this number is equivalent to 4000*1.1x10^3

and we know that 4000 = 4x10^3, then we are looking for:

(4x10^3)*(1.1x10^3) = (4*1.1)x10^(3 + 3) = 4.4x10^6

So the correct answer is the option C : 4.4x10^6

Vanessa was baking cookies. Each batch of cookies made 3 dozen. If Vanessa uses 6 cups of flour total and each batch requires 1
erastovalidia [21]
Each batch gives you 3 dozen and you need 1 1/2 cups for each batch of cookies

she uses 6 cups in total, so divide 6 by 1 1/2 to get the number of batches

6 ÷ 1 1/2 = 4 batches

so 4 batches × 3 dozen cookies = 12 dozen cookies

During the last class period of the semester, each student in a graduate computer science class with 10 students is required to
sesenic [268]

Answer:

Probability = 1/5

Step-by-step explanation:

Total ways of arrangement for 10 students = 10 !

Ways to arrange 2 students consecutively & other 8 students =  9 ! x 2

( As 9! to arrange 9 units, as 2 considered together ; &  2 for arranging 2 consecutive students - respectively )

So, Probability = Favourable outcomes / Total outcomes

= ( 2 x 9! ) / 10!  = ( 2 x 9 x 8 x ..... 2 x 1 ) / 10 x 9 x ....... 2 x 1)

= 2 / 10 = 1/5

45.5 ft^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of the garden is (7 ft) by (13 ft), which works out to 91 ft^2.

The half garden used for cucumbers is (91 ft^2)/2, or 45.5 ft^2.

If f(x) = 3 – 2x and 1/x+5, what is the value of (f/g)(8)? –169 –1 13 104
Basile [38]
I'm assuming that this is the complete question.
If f(x) = 3 – 2x and g(x)=1/(x+5), what is the value of (f/g)(8)? a) –169       b) –1      c) 13     d) 104
x = 8
f(x) = 3 -2xf(8) = 3 - 2(8) = 3 - 16 = -13
g(x) = 1/(x+5)g(8) = 1/(8+5) = 1/13
(f/g)(8)f(8)/g(8) = -13/ (1/13) = -13 * 13 = -169  Choice A :)

Step-by-step explanation:

Ā means the average

So it means the average of 64 gave their speech which should be 64/2 = 32

So 32 gave their speeches yesterday,

7 gave today

Total number that has given is

32 + 7 = 39

Therefore the number remaining are
