Answer:

The formula to get the circumference of a circle is C=2*\pi * r but in this case we see that a diameter is being used therefore we can get rid of the 2 and the r because that is what the diameter and just replace d into there like this C=d*\pi.

We can then input the value and we get that C=5*\pi which then just narrows down to C=15.708.

Y varies directly with x, and y = 7 when x = 2. What is the value of y when x = 5?
____ [38]
Y varies directly with x"  means y = constant * x  or y = kx  ----- (1)1.  when x = -1/2, y = 2Put it in (1):2 = k * (-1/2)multiply by 2:4 = k * (-1)4 = -kk = -4y = -4x
"find the value of y when x= -0.3"y = -4x = (-4) * (-0.3) = 1.2

So for each problem, start with y = kxThey give you one x and one y value.Put it in y = kx and find k.Then put x = -0.3 and find y.

What is the polynomial function if the zeros are -2,3,-4
navik [9.2K]
For the above equation and given zeros of polynomial equation we have;

y=(x+2)(x-3)(x+4)
y=(x^2+2x-3x-6)(x+4)
y=(x^2-x-6)(x+4)
y=(x^3-x^2-6x+4x^2-4x-24)
y=x^3+3x^2-10x-24
Therefore our answer is 3

Hope this helps. Any questions please just ask. Thank you.
