Linear equation is equation in which each term has at max one degree. The function that can represent the given graph is y=2.0769x + 1.5.

<h3>What is linear equation?</h3>

Linear equation is equation in which each term has at max one degree. Linear equation in variable x and y can be written in the form y = mx + c

Linear equation with two variables, when graphed on Cartesian plane with axes of those variables, give a straight line.

For the given graph the equation can be written as, y = mx+c, this is because the graph is a line which means the relationship is linear. Therefore, the equation can be written as,

y = mx + c

Now, there are two points that are on the line and the coordinates of this points are,

A = (4, 9.5)

B = (7.25, 16)

Further the slope of the equation is,

m = (16-9.5) / (7.25 - 4) = 2.0769

Since c is the y-intercept of the graph, therefore, the value of c is 1.5.

Thus, the function that can represent the given graph is y=2.0769x + 1.5.

A, B and C are points on a circle with a diameter AB
Tamiku [17]

Answer:

36.575

Step-by-step explanation:

you need to find line ab you can do A^{2} +B^{2} =C^{2}  for the triangle and get the line you also need to get the squar root of it as it is still squared then devide by 2 to get the rades then times that by pi and there you go you have the area also sorry for spelling I love math not English

AD is a diameter of a circle and AB is a chord. If AD=34cm, AB=30cm, the distance of AB from the centre of the circle is :
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

   The distance is 8 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The chord and the diameter form one leg and the hypotenuse of a right triangle. The other leg, BD, has length ...

  BD² +AB² = AD²

  BD² = AD² -AB² = 34² -30² = 256

  BD = √256 = 16

The segment from the center of the circle to the midpoint of the chord is the midline of triangle ABD, so is half the length of BD.

  distance from AB to the center = 16/2 = 8 . . . cm
