The answer to this question is Initial velocity of plane will be 34236 m/s and 92437.2 Km is the distance travelled by it.

Three equation of motion are:-

  1. v = u + at
  2. s = ut + (1/2)at²
  3. v² - u² = 2as

Where v is final velocity, u in initial velocity, s is the displacement by the object, a is the acceleration and t denotes the time.

In question we have given deceleration as 6.34 m/s² and time as 1.5 hour which is equal to 5400 seconds.

Applying equation 1 to find the initial speed of plane

v = u + at

0 = u + (-6.34 × 5400)   {v=0 as plane will stop after 5400 sec}

u =  6.34 × 5400

u = 34236 m/s

Initial velocity of plane is 34236 m/s

Applying equation 2 to find the displacement of plane in that time period

s = ut + (1/2)at²

s = ( 34236 × 5400 )  - ( (1/2) × 6.34 × 5400² )

s = 5400 × ( 34236 - ((1/2) × 6.34 × 5400) )

s = 5400 × ( 34236 - 17118 )

s = 5400 × 17118 metres

s = 5.4 × 17118 Km

s = 92437.2 Km

Distance travelled by plane is 92437.2 Km

So, the initial velocity of plane will be 34236 m/s and the displacement of plane in that time period will be 92437.2 Km.

Using Ohm’s Law, explain how resistance changes in relation to current, assuming that voltage remains constant.
Cerrena [4.2K]
V=IR so voltage is directly proportional to current. So for a given resistance increasing the voltage will result in a high current as well. This is because resistance is proportional to the voltage over the current. Ex: I=V/R

Question 24 1 pts Find the voltage in an extension cord having a 0.0600 22 resistance and through which a 5.00A current is flowi
Neporo4naja [7]

The voltage in the extension cord is 30 V.

The problem above can be solved using ohm's law

⇒ Formula:

V = IR.................. Equation 1

⇒ Where:

  • V = Voltage in the extension cord
  • I = Current flowing through the extension cord
  • R = Resistance of the extension cord.

From the question, I think there was a slight error in the value of the current given it suppose to be 500 A, and not 5.00 A

⇒ Given:

  • I = 500 A
  • R = 0.06 ohms

⇒ Substitute these values into equation 1

  • V = 500(0.06)
  • V = 30 V

Hence the voltage in the extension cord is 30 V

Select the correct answer. Eli and Andy want to find out which of the two is stronger. Eli pushes a table with a force of 120 ne
sergiy2304 [10]

Acceleration of the table: B. 0.50 meters/second2

Explanation:

The problem can be solved by using Newton's second law of motion, which states that the net force acting on an object is the product of its mass and its acceleration. Mathematically:

\sum F = ma

where

\sum F is the net force

m is the mass

a is the acceleration

For the table in this problem, we have:

\sum F = 125 N - 120 N = 5 N is the net force on the table, because there are two forces of 125 N and 120 N acting in opposite  directions

m = 10.0 kg is the mass of the table

Solving for a, we find the acceleration:

a=\frac{\sum F}{m}=\frac{5}{10.0}=0.50 m/s^2

The transfer of heat by the movement of a fluid is called
ikadub [295]

Answer:Convection

Explanation:

Convection is the heat transfer procedure by the movement of liquid or gas molecules. It is a combination of diffusion and bulk motion of molecules. Near the surface of the liquid diffusion process dominates while at certain height bulk motion of liquid dominates.

Convection can be

  • Natural
  • Forced

Natural : Natural convection occurs due to density differences

Forced: Force convection occurs when we apply external heat source.

A positive charge, q1, of 5 µC is 3 × 10–2 m west of a positive charge, q2, of 2 µC. What is the magnitude and direction of the
belka [17]
We know, F = 1/4πε * q₁q₂ / r²
Here, q₁ = 5 * 10⁻⁶ C
q₂ = 2 * 10⁻⁶ C
r = 3 * 10⁻² m west

Substitute their values,
F = (9 * 10⁹) (5 * 10⁻⁶) (2 * 10⁻⁶)  / (3 * 10⁻²)²

F = 100 N  [ East of positive charge ]
