- Fifth step: Blow pure oxygen through the water and let bacteria eat the waste. Also let the bacteria perform de-nitrification (secondary de-nitrification).
- Sixth step: Filtration, disinfection, reverse osmosis filtration (tertiary treatment).
- Seventh step: send 6% of the water away from the tertiary treatment.
- Eight step: drop most of the water through a 5 mile pipe 200 feet deep into the ocean.
