Distillation is the process which involves the separation of pure water from impure water.

<h3>What is Distillation?</h3>

This is a technique which is used to purify through the boiling and cooling processes in the laboratory and typically involves the use of a liebig condenser.

Pure water is usually collected at 100° celsius with the impurities remaining and filtered out during the process. This is therefore the most apporpriate way of separating pure water from impure water.
