Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a sector in terms of radians as opposed to degrees is

A=\frac{\theta}{2\pi }*\pi r^2

Filling in the formula accordingly gives us

A=\frac{1.75rad}{2\pi rad}*\pi (2)^2

The radians cancel out, the pi's cancel out, the 2 in the denominator cancels out (divides into 2-squared once), leaving us with

A = 1.75(2) so

A = 3.5 units squared

A student is 5 feet, 2 inches tall. What is her height in meters?
Maurinko [17]
We know that 1 feet is 0.3m and that 1 inch = 0.0254 m
To get the result we have to multiply 5 feet by 0.3 and 2 inches by 0.0254 and add it.
5*0.3=1.5
2*0.0254=0.0508
Now adding
1.5+0.058=1.55m - its the answer

I need desperate help PLEASE!!!
koban [17]

Answer:

OPTION B

OPTION D

Step-by-step explanation:

An element in the domain should be mapped to exactly one element on the co-domain. Also, every element in the domain should be mapped to an element in the co-domain.

These two conditions are satisfied to call a relation, a function.

Two different elements in the domain can be mapped to the same element in the co-domain. But the same element in the domain cannot be mapped to two different elements in the co-domain.

A) {(3,7), (3,6), (5,4), (4,7)}

Here, the element '3' in the domain is mapped to two elements 7 and 6. So, it is not a function.

B) {(1,5), (3,5), (4, 6), (6,4)}

This is a function because all the elements in the domain have a unique image in the co-domain. So, this is a function.

C) {(2,3), (4,2), (4,6), (6,4)}

Here, the element '4' in the domain is again mapped to two different elements. Hence, it cannot be a function.

D) {(0,4), (3,2), (4,2), (6,5)}

This is again a function. Because the domain is mapped to unique elements. So, this is a function.

How do u do this stuff I’m confused
Luba_88 [7]
Ok so I'll show u how to do number 7
So 12 and one third basically equals 12+(1/3)
Now in order to add this to another fraction, we need to make the mixed numbers in improper fractions
So 12 and (1/3)=(36/3)+(1/3)
And 9 and (2/3)=(27/3)+(2/3)
Ok so the first number (or 12 and (1/3)) basically equals (37/3)
The second number (or 9 and (2/3)) equals (29/3)

Now that we have the two numbers with common denominators, we can do the math.

(37/3)-(29/3) is the same as (37-29)/3
So simplifying would be
(8/3) or 2 and (2/3)
