Anorexia is defined as a psychological eating disorder that is characterized by the individual being afraid of getting fat or over weight.

The features of an anorexic person include the following:

  • dehydration

  • underweight ( extreme weight loss)

  • anxiety, and

  • Irregular menstruation.

Therefore the above features found in an anorexic person shows they are unhealthy in appearance.
