The power required from a 75-kg patient when the treadmill is sloping at required speed is 131.58 W.

<h3>Parallel force on the patient</h3>

The parallel force on the patient is calculated as follows;

F = mg sinθ

F = (75 x 9.8) x sin(12)

F = 152.82 N

<h3>Average power required </h3>

P = FV

where;

  • V is speed  = 3.1 km/h = 3.1/3.6 = 0.861 m/s

F = 152.82 x 0.861

F = 131.58 W

Thus, the power required from a 75-kg patient when the treadmill is sloping at required speed is 131.58 W.

Two long, parallel wires are attracted to each other by a force per unit length of 350 µN/m. One wire carries a current of 22.5
pishuonlain [190]

Answer

given,

force per unit length = 350 µN/m

current, I = 22.5 A

y = y = 0.420 m

\dfrac{F}{L}= \dfrac{KI_1I_2}{d}

I_2 = \dfrac{F}{L}\dfrac{d}{KI_1}

I_2 = 350\times 10^{-6}\times \dfrac{0.42}{2 \times 10^{-7}\times 22.5}

    I₂ = 32.67 A

distance where the magnetic field is zero

\dfrac{4\pi \times 10^{-7}\times 32.67}{2\pi y_1}=\dfrac{4\pi \times 10^{-7}\times 22.5}{2\pi (0.42-y_1)}

y_1 = 0.248\ m

there the distance at which the magnetic field is zero in the two wire is at 0.248 m.

Any two application of gravity
Brrunno [24]

Answer:

Well the definition of an application is the act of putting to a special use or purpose so lam assuming that you want specific uses that scientists make of gravity in their work.

Well our first application has helped us to send satellites around the solar system with what Nasa calls gravity assist. Using a particular planets gravity to slingshot a satellite to another destination. Look it up.

The next application much simpler but here on Earth. There are many hydro-electric power stations in use all over the world. Water is stored at a high level and released falling 100s of metres to a turbine where it generates electricity.

Hope that helps.

A car with a mass of 1.50x10^3 kg starts from rest and accelerates to a speed of 18.0m/s in 12.0 s. assume that the force of res
Luden [163]
The first thing you should know for this case is the definition of distance.
 d = v * t
 Where,
 v = speed
 t = time
 We have then:
 d = v * t
 d = 9 * 12 = 108 m
 The kinetic energy is:
 K = ½mv²
 Where,
 m: mass
 v: speed
 K = ½ * 1500 * (18) ² = 2.43 * 10 ^ 5 J
 The work due to friction is
 w = F * d
 Where,
 F = Force
 d = distance:
 w = 400 * 108 = 4.32 * 10 ^ 4
 The power will be:
 P = (K + work) / t
 Where,
 t: time
 P = 2.86 * 10 ^ 5/12 = 23.9 kW
 answer:
 the average power developed by the engine is 23.9 kW
