The collection of organisms and their nonliving surroundings that functions as a unit is called ecosystem. There are two kinds of ecosystem:

 • Aquatic ecosystems (ecosystems dependent on water)
 • Terrestrial ecosystems are those found on land.

Biomes are broad classifications of terrestrial ecosystems based chiefly on climate. Tropical rain forests, savannas, deserts, coniferous forests, and tundra are a few examples of nonliving surroundings in terrestrial biomes. According to the definition of an aquatic ecosystem, it is a water-based environment. Aquatic environments are of two types: marine ecosystems and freshwater ecosystems. The organisms included different fish species, crayfish, turtles and sharks etc.

When a person is exercising the body needs to deliver increased amounts of oxygen to the muscles. Which componentes f the blood
ad-work [718]

In human blood, there is a compound inside the RBCs called haemoglobin which ensures that the muscle will receive enough oxygen during exercise.

Explanation:

In human blood, the red blood corpuscles contain the haemoglobin. Haemoglobin is a iron chelated compound containing porphyrin ring and a globin tail which can establish co-ordinate covalent bond with both oxygen and carbon dioxide. The bonding element depends on the concentration of these two gases. In lungs, where the oxygen concentration is more than carbon dioxide, the haemoglobin bonds with oxygen and brings it to the tissues where carbon dioxide concentration is more. This makes the haemoglobin to release oxygen and bond with carbon dioxide which is brought back to lungs. This is the process by which each and every tissue including the muscles recieve oxygen.

In muscles there is Myoglobin which is another iron-porphyrin compound which has several times more affinity for oxygen than haemoglobin. This helps to extract more oxygen from haemoglobin in muscles.

Plant cells have mitochondria, which use glucose to produce ATP. Where does the glucose originate?
Romashka [77]

Plant produces glucose in the chloroplast through the process of photosynthesis. Calvin cycle is basically the biological process through which glucose is produced. The steps involved are as follows:

1. Absorbed CO2 is added to RuBP and 6C sugar is formed.

2. Breaking of 6C sugar into two 3-phosphoglycerate molecules

3. ATP gives phosphate group to form 3-phosphoglycerate which is later on converted into 1,3-biphosphoglycerate.

4. Electons are required by 1,3-biphosphoglycerate to an aldehyde called glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate or G3P and these electrons are donated by NADPH

5. Enzyme aldolase uses two molecules of G3P to produce 6 C sugar called fructose-1,6-biphosphate which is further converted to fructose-6-phosphate

6. Enzyme isomerase converts fructose-6-phosphate to glucose-1-phosphate
