N-95 mask, gloves, goggles, and gown are the minimum Standard Precautions an EMT should take when transporting a patient infected with Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS).

Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) is a viral disease of the respiratory system brought on by the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), which was initially discovered in Saudi Arabia in 2012.

Frequent coughing, fever, and shortness of breath are typical MERS symptoms.

Although pneumonia is common, MERS patients may not always have the illness. Additionally, among MERS patients, gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhoea have been documented.

Examples of personal protective equipment that shields the wearer from liquid or particle contamination of the face include surgical and N95 masks.

Some other precautions include using gloves and other type of PPE includes goggles and gown.

What are the benefits of performing a clia-waived rapid test in the medical office?.
tresset_1 [31]

Giving the doctor a clear indication of the issue, enabling early therapy to begin, and being practical for the patient.

What do you mean by Clia-waived rapid test ?

According to the CLIA law, tests that the CDC or FDA deem to be sufficiently straightforward that there is minimal danger of error are waived.

 • Pregnancy tests, faecal occult blood tests, some urine tests, and some tests for glucose and cholesterol are also exempt.

 • The quick availability of results while the patient is available for immediate follow-up, the need for little training in simple tests, and the portability of many waived tests all contribute to the advantages of performing them.

scZoUnD [109]

Explanation:

Ffeosol sulfate is an iron supplement.. children are susceptible to an overdose..they will get hard stools, push excessively to remove stools,

this depends on the child's weight, and if they hav had lost or gained weight during prognosis. if under 20lbs, they should get 5mil(1tsp) ..

if over 20lbs. should get 2 tsp..

guessing that child ingested 2oz that would equal 4 tsp of iron..

3 tsp = 1 tablespoon, so child ingested 1 & a half tsps of iron...

dont think it's dangerous, but should watch 4 reactions...
