The order of decreasing photon energy is FM radio, AM radio, yellow light, and microwaves.

Electromagnetic radiation: The electromagnetic field's waves, which are conveying electromagnetic radiant energy through space, are what make up electromagnetic radiation. It consists of X-rays, gamma rays, microwaves, infrared, light, and radio waves. These waves are all a component of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Microwave radiation has wavelengths between one meter and one millimeter, which correspond to frequencies between 300 MHz and 300 GHz, respectively.

Radio waves: The electromagnetic spectrum's longest wavelengths, which are found in radio waves, are normally found at frequencies of 300 gigahertz and below.

The radio waves have the highest photon energy and the lowest is microwaves.

So, the highest to lowest order is FM radio, AM radio, yellow light and microwaves.

Two identical metal spheres A and B are in contact. Both are initially neutral. 1.0× 10 12 electrons are added to sphere A, then
Vilka [71]

Answer:

8 x 10^-8 C on both the spheres.

Explanation:

Number of electrons added to A = 1 x 10^12

As the sphere A and B are identical to each other so the charge is shared equally.

Charge of one electron = 1.6 x 10^-19 C

Charge on A after wards

= number of electrons after wards x charge of one electron

qA = 0.5 x 10^12 x 1.6 x 10^-19 = 8 x 10^-8 C

Similarly, the charge on sphere B afterwards

= number of electrons after wards x charge of one electron

qB = 0.5 x 10^12 x 1.6 x 10^-19 = 8 x 10^-8 C

Please answer and explain the equations of how you got the answer
Dima020 [189]

Answer:

a) H=277113.45m

b) t = 142.09 seconds

Solution

In this question we have given

initial speed, v= 1.7x10^3m/s

angle of projection with ground, α= 55 degree

a) Neglecting air resistance, horizontal component of velocity is given as

V(h)=vcos\alpha............(1)

put value of v and α in equation(1)

V(h)=cos 55\times1.7x10^3m/s

V(h) = 975.08 m/s

Now, horizontal range is given as

H = V(h) \times t

H = 975.08 \times t

= 975.08t m .... (1)

b) Time of flight

Vertical component of velocity is given as

V(v)=vsin\alpha............(1)

V(v)=vsin55\times1.7x10^3m/s

V(v) = 1392.5585 m/s

We know that time to reach at maximum height is given by formula

t=\frac{V(v)}{g}

t= (1392.5585 m/s)/9.8m/s^2

time to reach at maximum height,t = 142.09seconds

Total time in air 2t = 284.19 seconds.

put value of t in equation (1)

Therefore horizontal range is given as

H=975.08m/s\times284.19s\\H=277113.45m
