Answer is no, oil is not soluble in water.

Reason: oils are hydrophobic, or “water fearing.” Instead of being attracted to water molecules, oil molecules are repelled by them. As a result, when you add oil to water the two don't mix with each other.
Oil does not have any polar part and so for them to dissolve in water they would have to break some of waters hydrogen bonds. Water will not do this so the oil is forced to stay separate from the water.

Mekhanik [1.2K]

Answer:

it's the regolith

hope this helps you

C Horizon - Also called regolith: the layer beneath the B Horizon and above the R Horizon. It consists of slightly broken-up bedrock. Plant roots do not penetrate into this layer; very little organic material is found in this layer. R Horizon - The unweathered rock (bedrock) layer that is beneath all the other layers.

At a certain temperature, the solubility of strontium arsenate, sr3(aso4)2, is 0.0480 g/l. what is the ksp of this salt at this
Nadusha1986 [10]
Given the solubility of strontium arsenate is 0.0480 g/l . we have to convert it into mol/L by dividing it over molar mass (540.7 g/mol)
Molar solubility = 0.0480 / 540.7 = 8.9 x 10⁻⁵ mol/L
Dissociation equation:
Sr₃(AsO₄)₂(s) → 3 Sr²⁺(aq) + 2 AsO₄³⁻(aq)
                             3 s                   2 s
Ksp = [Sr²⁺]³ [AsO₄³⁻]²
       = (3s)³ (2s)²
       = 108 s⁵
Ksp = 108 (8.9 x 10⁻⁵) = 5.95 x 10⁻¹⁹

What is measured by the reaction rate? the probability that a reaction will occur the speed at which products form the time requ
Cloud [144]

Answer: the speed at which products form

Explanation:

Rate of a reaction is defined as the speed at which a chemical reaction proceeds. It is often expressed in terms of the concentration of a reactant that is consumed in a unit time or the concentration of a product that is formed in a unit of time.

For a general reaction :A\rightarrow B

Rate=-\frac{d[A]}{dt}

or Rate=+\frac{d[B]}{dt}

where d[A] = change in concentration of reactant A

d[B] = change in concentration of product B

dt = time interval

Can someone balance this chemical equation for me please : )
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

2

Explanation:

Tried out 1, but couldn't get whole numbers on the right side then, so went up to 2, worked

all four numbrrs: 2, 7, 4, 6

The 7 for oxygen got adjusted in the last step of the thinking, because it's the simplest to adjust.

since there are different prime numbers (or rather numbers that don't share prime factors) in the set, the numbers can't be revived by the same number and still give whole numbers as results (they can't be smaller)
