Ovulation simulating drugs is the assisted reproduction technique which is associated with having low-birth-weight infants.

On average IVF children are born a little earlier and have lower birth weights than naturally conceived children.

IVF - In Virto Fertilization is one of the technique which is available to help help people with fertility problems have a baby. For this technique, an egg is removed from the woman's ovaries and fertilized with sperm in a laboratory. The fertilized egg, called an embryo, is then returned to the woman's womb to grow and develop. The cycle takes about one to two months.

A few risks of IVF include low birth weight, premature delivery, miscarriage, birth defects, complications etc.
