The dog runs  300240 miles.

<h3>What is the rate?</h3>

Rate refers to the pace at which something happens. We know that the easiest way to obtain the rate is by the use of proportion. Now we have been told that the dog is able to run 500 miles in 12 seconds.

If the dog runs 500 miles in 12 seconds

The dog runs x miles in 1 second

x = 500 * 1/12

x = 41.7 miles

In two hours we have 2 * 60 * 60 = 7200 seconds

If the dog runs 41.7 miles in 1 second

The dog runs x miles in 7200 seconds

x = 41.7 miles * 7200 seconds/ 1 second

x = 300240 miles

In an experiment designed to measure the Earth's magnetic field using the Hall effect, a copper bar 0.550 cm thick is positioned
motikmotik

Answer:

B= 4.197*10^-5T

Explanation:

We know that the magnetic Field of the Earth is 50\mu T, so the equation for

Hall effect voltage und magnetic field are defined as,

\Delta V_H = \frac{IB}{nqt}

B=\frac{nqt\Delta V_h}{I}

So,

B=\frac{(8.48*10^{28})(1.6*10^{-19})(0.0055)(4.5*10^-{12})}{8}

B= 0.00004197

B= 4.197*10^{-5}T

Velocity vector and acceleration vector in a uniform circular motion are related as.
mr_godi [17]

They are related as \bold{\underline {v}\,.\,\underline a }= \bold{0}

  • In a uniform circular motion, the magnitude of the speed does not change during the travel and only the instantaneous direction changes.
  • This speed is always directed along the tangent to the circle at a given point. (refer to the figure attached)
  • For any circular motion, the must-have acceleration is the centripetal acceleration that is directed towards the centre of the circular locus (if the motion has a tangential acceleration, it has a tangential acceleration additionally).
  • Therefore, both the directions of the tangential speed and the centripetal acceleration are orthogonal to each other (perpendicular: one is 90 degrees apart from the other).
  • In mathematics, 2 vectors (\underline p , \underline q) that are perpendicular to each other have a quality that their dot product (\underline p\,.\, \underline q) equal to zero vector (\bold 0) which is written as \undeline p\,.\, \underline q = \bold 0.
  • This quality can be considered when dealing with the velocity vector and the acceleration vector in a manner \underline v\,.\, \underline a =\bold 0.

A baseball leaves a bat with a horizontal velocity of 20 m/s. In a time of 0.25 s, How far will it have traveled horizontally?
Maurinko [17]

Distance traveled by the ball is given by

distance = speed \times time

here we know that

speed = 20 m/s

times = 0.25 s

now we have

distance = 20 \times 0.25

distance = 5 m

so ball will travel 5 m distance in the given interval of time

Astronaut Sarah leaves Earth in a spaceship at a speed of 0.280c relative to Earth. Sarah's destination is a star-system 12.5 li
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

L= 12 light years

Explanation:

for length dilation we use the formula

L=L_0\sqrt{1-\frac{v^2}{c^2} }

now calculating Lo

Lo = 12.5×365×24×3600×3×10^8

= 1.183×10^17 m

now putting the values of v and Lo in the above equation we get

L=1.183\times10^{17}\sqrt{1-\frac{0.28c^2}{c^2} }

= 1.136×10^17 m

L=  = \frac{1.136\times10^{17}}{365\times24\times3600\times3\times10^8}m

so L= 12 light years

Are all liquids able to conduct an electric current
Alona [7]

The ions are able to carry electric current through a solution. Some liquids such as oil or alcohol do not form ions and do not conduct electricity. Vinegar is mostly water with a small amount of acetic acid in it. The acetic acid separates into ions on so that the solution conducts electricity.     BRAINLIST ME PEASE
