A rental car company charges $69.72 per day to rent a car and $0.15 for every mile driven. Bella wants to rent a car, knowing that: She plans to drive 375 miles. She has at most $470 to spend. What is the maximum number of days that Bella can rent the car while staying within her budget?

First we must how much she has to spend to do all the miles.

as each mile is  0.15 she needs   0.15 * 375 = 56.25  dollars.  

Now the compagny charges 69.72 for each day.  Let's call X numbers of days.

Then we have to solve :  

69.72 X + 56.25  = 470

69.72 X = 470 -56.25

69.72 X = 413.75

           X =  413.75 / 69.72

           X = 5.93 ...  

As the compagny charges whole days, she can keep it only 5 days.
