This statement is True: cap offers many different group sessions; one of their offerings is an overcoming test anxiety workshop.

The catabolite activator protein (CAP, also known as cAMP receptor protein, CRP) is a transcriptional activator that exists as a homodimer in solution and has a DNA-binding domain and ligand-binding domain on each subunit.

The transcription of various genes, particularly those that code for enzymes involved in the metabolism of certain sugars, is aided by the DNA-binding protein known as the Escherichia coli catabolite gene activator protein (CAP) (i.e. lactose, maltose, and arabinose.)

The protein catabolite activator (CAP) serves as a glucose sensor. It starts the operon's transcription, but only when the blood glucose level is low. Through the "hunger signal" chemical cAMP, CAP detects glucose in an indirect manner.
