Answer:
In my opinion, yes. But it's for the best.
Explanation:
Efficiency is the ability to achieve a certain task with minimum time and effort. In term of political system, democracy might not be the most efficient compared to other alternative.
Let me elaborate.
- In a country ruled by kings or dictators, the way law being passed is very simple.
step 1: The leader wants the law.
step 2: It will happen by the end of the day. No one can prevent it from happening.
Simple and efficient.
- In a country which implement democracy. The way law being passed has to go through a lot of process. From proposed by the president, being reviewed by the legislative branches, waiting for some sort of adjustment, being thrown back again to the president, etc.
This make a law need a lot of time before it can eventually be passed. 'in other word, very inefficient.'
But such inefficiency is needed to prevent the leader of the country from having too much power over the citizens. The inefficiency in democracy is basically what make it possible for us to throw out our leaders in case they are becoming tyrannical.

In Book 3, Chapter 2 of George Orwell’s1984, Winston is being tortured and interrogated by O’Brien. This is a crucial section of the story because it reveals the true intentions of Big Brother (aka the state). Ironically, the location for this section is referred to as the “Ministry of Love.” What Winston and the other prisoners endure here is, to our way of thinking, anything but love. We would probably call it something more like the “Ministry of Brainwashing” or the “Ministry of Torture.”
The readers, like Winston, assume that the state’s goal is to punish wayward citizens and to frighten them into behaving appropriately. However, as Winston’s interrogation proceeds, the reader sees that O’Brien is not simply torturing him for information or to change his behavior, but is actually trying to change his thought process. This idea is demonstrated as O’Brien holds up four fingers and asks Winston to tell him how many fingers he sees. Winston insists that he sees four until the pain of the torture becomes too great, and he seems to begin to doubt that he really sees four. O’Brien is making him compliant, able to believe what he is told even if it flies in the face of reason and common sense.
Finally, near the end of this sequence, O’Brien tells Winston what the ultimate goal of the torture process is:
We shall squeeze you empty, and then we shall fill you with ourselves.
So, the Ministry of Love functions to create citizens that will obey the state not only out of fear, but also because they have been brainwashed to believe that the state is actually right about everything.

In George Orwell's "1984" Winston has been captured by the Thought Police and is being questioned by O'Brien. Winston is strapped down to a table and is being shocked with electric current. At one point O'Brien tells Winston that people are not brought to the Ministry of Love to confess or to be punished. He tells Winston that people are brought to the Ministry to be "Cured." He tells Winston that he is insane and must be cured of that insanity. He also tells Winston that he does not exist.
Answer:
True Client based relationships
Explanation:
This process is key for retaining costumers over time and expanding the number of clients, it also discourages them to switch to try products from another company.
When positive relationships develop, the initial costumers can often stay repeatedly consuming over a long time. In turn, their positive experiences help the company to gain more clients as recommendations of these happy users that are consuming repeatedly.
When costumers see their necessities and demands fullfilled, they will hardly switch to another competing company. They will often stay loyal, as long as their satisfaction and comfort level remain.
Think of a person that has over decades, always bought their shoes or tennis in the same store, since every time that he buys them, he often is contacted to receive promotions. He is also asked to review the services offered to him and asked to give feedback.
This way, he will feel that the company is caring for him, and establish a client-based relationship.
As an essential Marketing Principle, the building of satisfying relationships with clients usually expands the size of clients over time, as recommendations come as a word of mouth between users.
at the turn of the 20th century society was interested in pseudoscientific topics such as clairvoyance and telepathy. to establish the young field of psychology as a science, the early psychologists focused on behavior and mental processes that could be observed directly. by adopting an empirical approach, with its emphasis on direct observation and experimentation for answering questions, early psychologists were able to divorce psychology from pseudoscience
