The membrane potential in which there is no net movement of the ion across the membrane is called the C. equilibrium potential.

Membrane potential can be described as the different electrical potential that is present inside and outside of a cell due to the sodium-potassium pump. A cell tends to have more potassium ions inside it as compared to the outside. On the other hand, the concentration of sodium ions in a cell is kept lower as compared to the outer environment.

Sodium being a negative ion and potassium being a positive ion creates differences in the electrical potential inside and outside of a cell.

An equilibrium potential is a point where there is no net movement of ions across the membrane because the electric force is equal inside and outside of a cell. The opposing forces are balanced which makes no movement of ions possible.

andreev551 [17]
The white blood cell is called NEUTROPHIL. Neutrophils play important roles in the immune system; they move around the body via the blood stream and when they sense signals that foreign bodies are present, they move to the site of the infection and destroy them. They are among the first set of immune cells that defend the body against infection.

Which question is a nonscientific question? Why are roses the best flowers? Does the color of a rose affect how long it blooms?
svlad2 [7]

A non scientific question is a question which cannot be proved to be true as no experiment or no data can be gathered from it. Why are roses the best flowers? is an example of  nonscientific question. The answer of this question is subjective and it brings no scientific data. Scientific question on the other hand is a question that may lead to a hypothesis and help us in answering (or figuring out) the reason for some observation.
