The object fall just during the 2nd second is 14.7m.

As we know the equation of motion

equation off motion are equation that describe the behavior of physical system in terms of its motion as a function of time.

using 2nd equation of motion

S = ut +gt²/2

S= distance covered

u = initial velocity

g = acceleration due to gravity

t = time taken (t= 1 sec)

a = g = 9.8 m/s²

u = 0 m/s

At time t=1 sec

S₁ = 0 + 9.8 (1)²/2 = 4.9m

S₁ = 4.9m

S1 is the distance covered in ist second.

At t = time (t= 2 sec)

S₂ = 0 + 9.8 (2)²/2 = 19.6m

S₂ = 19.6m

S2 is the distance covered after 2nd second.

The object fall just during the 2nd second is

S = S₂ - S₁

S = 19.6 - 4.9 = 14.7m

The object fall just during the 2nd second is 14.7m.

Which of the following accurately describes the way in which a muscle moves?
Vaselesa [24]

Answer;

B. When actin filaments are pulled toward the center of the sarcomere, the fiber shortens.

Explanation;

 • The events of muscle fiber shortening occurs with in the sacromeres in the fibers.
 • Contraction of striated muscle fibers takes place as the sacromeres shorten as myosin heads pull on the actin filaments.
 • Filament movement starts at the region or zone where thin and thick filaments overlap.
 • Myofibril contains many sacromeres along its length and thuse myofibrils and muscle cells contract as the sacromeres contract.
