Why isn’t there a commutative property for division?

Hello! 

To try to answer your question in short, to adhere to the cumulative property switching the numbers must equal the same thing. ie. 2+3=5 same as 3+2=5
and 3*2=6 same as 2*3=6

this breaks down though for subtraction and division. 3-2=1 but 2-3=-1 and same for division, 4/2=2 but 2/4= 1/2
