Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

In this stem and leaf plot, the number in "stem" combines with another number from "leaf" to form the real number they are referring to. For example, 1 | 0 becomes 10, and 2|3 becomes 23.

Step 1: List out all of the numbers

04= 4

4, 4, 7, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 16, 16, 23

Step 2: Find the range

Range= BIGGEST number - SMALLEST number

Biggest: 23

Smallest: 4

23- 4= 19

Step 3: Find the median

Median: Number in the middle

When i say this, I literally mean to line up all the numbers from least to greatest, and find the one in the middle.

4, 4, 7, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 16, 16, 23

Now, you count how many numbers there are. There are 11 numbers. and 11 is an odd number.

In this case, you have to find the middle number, which is 10. This is because there has to be an equal amount on numbers on both sides of the middle number. I like to place my finger on the middle number to cover it up and see how many numbers are to the left and to the right to make sure they are equal. When doing this, exclude the middle number.

Median= 10

Step 4: Find the mode

Mode= number that is seen the most times

Refer to the list:

4, 4, 7, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 16, 16, 23

4 appears 2 times

7 appears 2 times

8 appears 1 time

10 appears 1 time

12 appears 1 time

15 appears 1 time

16 appears 2 times

23 appears 1 time

The numbers that appear most are 4, 7, and 16. Since all 3 of the numbers are tied , appearing the same number of times, I will assume that 4, 7, and 16 are the modes.

Mode(s): 4, 7, 16

Hope this helps!! Also can i please get brainliest? I worked pretty hard on this :D

And animals weight change from 12 pounds to 16 pounds what was the percent increase to the nearest whole number
amm1812
That's a 33% increase.

I calculated this using the formula:

\frac{|n-o|}{o} * 100

Where n = the new value (16 in your question), o = the old value (12 in your question) and the result is outputted as a percent increase.  You can check that this is correct by finding 33% of 12, adding the result to 12, and checking that the result equals your "new" number.

Note that 33% is only an approximation as your question requires a number rounded to the nearest whole.

Kris forwards an e-mail to 5 people. Each of those people forward that e-mail to 5 more people. If this happens 2 more times, wh
finlep [7]
Answer: 5 + 5^2 + 5^3 + 5^4

Explanation:

1) First time, when Kris forwards the e-mail it reaches other 5 people.

2) Second time, each one of the 5 people forawer to other 5 people, meaning that the second time the e-mail has reached other 5^2 people.

3) Third time, each 5^2 people forwarded to other 5 people, so the email reaches other 5^3 people

4) Fourth time => 5^4 new people.

So, the total number (not including Kris) is 5 + 5^2 + 5^3 + 5^4.

D is the centroid. Find Q D if DK =6.5.
Xelga [282]

Answer:

QD = 13

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the Centroid theorem of a triangle, the Centroid is ⅔ of the distance from every vertex angle to the midpoint of the side opposite to each of them.

By this we can deduce that:

QD = ⅔(QD + DK)

Substitute

QD = ⅔(QD + 6.5)

Multiply both sides by 3

3*QD = 2(QD + 6.5)

3QD = 2QD + 13

Subtract both sides by 2QD

3QD - 2QD = 13

QD = 13
