The story that fits the graph is; he elevator moves up, is stationary for a while, then moves down at a slower rate.

What is a position time graph?

The term position time graph shows us how the position of the object is changing with time. The position in this case has to do with the exact point in space where the object can be found. We have here an elevator that could be found at various points.

We now have to turn to the graph and see how the graph can be able to give a description of the motion of the elevator. If we look at the position time graph, it tends to move up and then remain at a point for some time before it moves down.

Based on the analysis that we have made above, we can now look out for any of the stories that fits the description that we have just made here.

Air pressure in a tire is maintained because the air molecules are

D. constantly running into each other.

There are five layers of the atmosphere and these are; troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere. The first layer, troposphere, is where we are able to do most of our activities. This is where we can see the formation of clouds, the production of rain, hail, snow and other weather phenomenon. Also, among the atmospheric layers, this layer is where the greatest amount of air pressure because most of the molecules of air are in this area. Like us, air has also mass and the pressure is brought down by the earth’s gravity causing an increase in weight exerted on you as you descend lower into the atmosphere. So, as you enter into the other layers of atmosphere above the troposphere, the air pressure starts to decrease. Below the atmosphere is the hydrosphere. This is where all liquid forms are located. And since the seawater has a greater mass than air, it has the greatest pressure. The answer is b.

All the planets move around the sun in eastward direction, but few planet have retrograde rotation i.e in westward direction. Retrograde motion is just an apparent change in the movement of planet which means it only seems as if the planet are rotating in opposite direction. Retrograde movement of planet like Saturn, Jupiter and mars is not real. Hence, if a person lives on Saturn, then following planets will exhibit retrograde motion
