The human body reserves creatinine phosphate as the energy source at the start of 100 yard dash (race).

The creatinine phosphate is converted into ATP, which is the energy package of our body. ATP is body's usable form of energy. Energy is stored in various forms in our body such as fats, carbohydrates and proteins. At a microscopic level, it is stored in molecules like creatinine phosphate. Carbohydrate and fats are the primary source of our body followed by proteins.

Our body uses three different forms of metabolism to convert these molecules in ATPs. These three processes are Phosphagen System, Aerobic Respiration and Glycolic/Anaerobic respiration.

What can we infer from the stickleback fossil record about evolutionary processes occurring today?
s2008m [1.1K]
<h3><u>Answer;</u></h3>

Evolutionary patterns observed in the fossil record are consistent with evolutionary processes occurring today.

<h3><u>Explanation;</u></h3>
  • Three spine stickleback is a model organisms for studies in evolution because; Stickleback fish are small and have short generation times. These two characteristics make them easy to keep in a lab and useful for conducting genetic studies, since researchers can follow several generations of fish in a relatively short time.
  • Also, stickleback fish populations occur throughout the Northern Hemisphere in a wide range of environments, so researchers can compare different populations and study how they have changed over time in response to different environmental pressures.

5) The following picture is of a single organism that has been Gram stained and is viewed under oil immersion on the compound li
RUDIKE [14]

Hi. You have not submitted any images about the microorganism the question refers to. This makes it impossible for me to answer your question. However, I will try to help you as best I can.

Gram stain is a test done to find out whether the bacteria are gram negative or gram positive. In this test, the bacteria are submitted to a certain type of dye and then are observed under a microscope. If the bacteria is gram positive, it will be purple in color. If the bacteria is gram negative, it will be red in color.

This is because after they are subjected to the violet dye, both types of bacteria absorb the color of the dye. However, before being observed under the microscope, the bacteria are washed with alcohol. Alcohol removes the dye from the gram negative bacteria, leaving them reddish. On the other hand, in gram positive bacteria, alcohol dehydrates the cell wall, compressing the pores and making the cell wall impermeable, preventing the dye from being released and, therefore, leaving the bacteria with a purple color.
