Saturn’s rings look bright because __________

Physics

The reason why Saturn's rings appear bright is because sunlight reflects off the ring material.

Because the ice particles in Saturn's rings scatter and reflect sunlight, the rings appear dazzling. Astronomers have long known that when Earth is directly between Saturn and the sun, Saturn's rings reflect sunlight with the greatest intensity. When light reflects off flat, polished surfaces (like a mirror or a pond) in a specific direction, it might appear exceptionally bright. The rings' actual nature becomes clear upon closer inspection. A mix of factors, such as gravity and collisions between the ring particles themselves, account for the rings' appearance of uniformity. Although the planets appear to be perfectly spherical, their spin causes them all to slightly bulge around the equator. The Saturnian ring system is the largest ring system in the Solar System. They are made up of innumerable tiny particles that orbit Saturn and range in size from micrometres to meters. With the exception of a small amount of stony material, the ring particles are virtually exclusively comprised of water ice.

according to newton's first law of motion what is the reason for a ball throwing up in the airfall back to earth
skelet666 [1.2K]
The force of earth's gravitational field is always directed downwards (towards the center of the earth. When the ball is thrown up, it is going against the earth's gravitational field and so, the earth's gravitational force pulls it back down, accelerating it downwards.

Coulomb’s Law describes:a.Electric force exerted on one charged sphere, by another charged sphere.b.Magnetic field surrounding a
Leni [432]

Answer:

a.Electric force exerted on one charged sphere, by another charged sphere.

Explanation:

Coulomb's Law describes the electric force between two objects. It is given by the following formula:

\vec{F} = \frac{1}{4\pi\epsilon_0}\frac{q_1q_2}{r^2}\^r

The magnetic field surrounding a current carrying conductor is described by Ampere's Law.

Amount of heat generated by a high current flow in a resistor can be described by P = VI

Voltage induced in a coil by a constant magnetic field is described by Faraday's Law.

A jewellery melts 500g of Silver to pour into a mould. Calculate how much energy was released as the silver solidified.
irga5000 [103]

When silver is poured into the mould the it will solidify

In this process the phase of the Silver block will change from liquid to solid.

This phase change will lead to release in heat and this heat is known as latent heat of fusion.

The formula to find the latent heat of fusion is given as

Q = mL

here given that

m = mass = 500 g

L = 111 kJ/kg

now we can find the heat released

Q = 0.5 * 111 kJ

Q = 55.5 kJ

So it will release total heat of 55.5 kJ when it will solidify

What constant horizontal force is required to drag a 5 kg block along a
BARSIC [14]

Answer:

25N

Explanation:

formula=> Frictional force= coefficient of friction x normal reaction

normal reaction is mass x gravity(10N/kg)

so Frictional force= 0.5x5x10

=25N

but that is the Frictional force not the constant force

to get the constant force, subtract the Frictional force from the weight of the block

weight= mass x gravity

= 5x10

= 50N

50N-25N

=25N

Using the formula below, calculate the kinetic energy of the 6 gram stone going 10 Mph
dusya [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

A wonderful (NOT) mixed unit problem

convert mph to m/s

v = 10 mi/hr(5280 ft/mi)(12 in/ft)(2.54 cm/in) / (100 cm/m) / (3600 s/hr)

v = 4.4704 m/s

KE = ½(0.006)4.4704²

KE = 0.05995342848 J

KE = 0.06 J
